It's not so much about the end product. It's more about seeing the Photics community interested in something again. Since the Photics Arcade was the most popular part of the site, it's important to have this type of dialogue. The poll will close on 12-21-2006 at 07:38 PM EST.

I'd like to see everyone work together, toward the common good. Would it be tough to organize? I don't think so. I would turn on file attachments for this forum, so that Registered Users can upload content - such as JPEG files and other artwork. Meanwhile, actionscript can be uploaded with the "CODE" tag.

Yet, competition is also interesting. I don't work well with others. I'd rather know the project's deadline, then get the work done myself. In every group project that I've ever been in, there's always someone who doesn't work their hardest. It drives me nuts, as that ultimately reflects on me. If someone doesn't finish what they're supposed to do, everyone else suffers for it. Instead of wasting my time making sure that everyone does what they're supposed to do, I can get things done quicker if I just do it myself.

That's what's so ironic about this. While I usually prefer to work alone, here I am cheering for collaboration. I'm trying to open up this site to more community involvement. While it is tough to work together, the final result can be so much better.

The vote is almost up. If you have opinions on this matter, now's the time. While I prefer collaboration, I'm not voting for it. This one is up to you. We can go with another competition or we can go with collaboration.
