12/31/2007 Virtual Console Releases – Bubble Bobble, Light Crusader and Top Hunter

Happy New Year… well… almost! 2007 was an amazing year for Nintendo and the Wii is seeing action all the way through. Today, there are three New Year’s Eve releases for the Virtual Console – Bubble Bobble (NES), Light Crusader (Genesis) and Top Hunter (NEOGEO). Did you get all the games that you wanted? 12/24/2007 Virtual Console Releases – Blades of Steel, Donkey Kong Country 3 and Rolling Thunder 2

Happy holidays! It’s Christmas Eve, but Nintendo isn’t taking the day off. I had to pause my vacation to update my website. It wasn’t a problem. I was actually pleased to discover Blades of Steel (NES) on the Wii Virtual Console list. Hockey is perfect for the winter holidays. Donkey Kong Country 3 (SNES) and Rolling Thunder 2 (Genesis) were also released to the Wii today.

12/17/2007 Virtual Console Releases – Cybernator, Alien Storm and Monster Lair

We’re one week away from Christmas. That must mean Nintendo is saving their festive and most popular games for this week, right?! I guess nothing says, “Happy Holidays” like Sci-Fi/fantasy shooters. Cybernator (SNES), Alien Storm (Genesis) and Monster Storm (TurboGrafx16) make their debut on the Wii Virtual Console today!

Wii Gifting – With Friends Like These, Who Needs Wrapping Paper?

After dragging myself home from a holiday party in Manhattan, I just wanted to sleep. Nintendo had different ideas. In the middle of the night, my room exploded with a bright and bluish light. Is it daytime already? No, there’s a new message on my Wii. The slot illuminator with holiday cheer. Nintendo was bragging about the Wii Gifting option in the Wii Shop Channel.
