I didn't set it in stone, as it depends on how ArenaNet does things. (If I can have single names in Guild Wars, I'll go with "Photics". If not, it's going to be "T A N K" who will lead the Crusaders to victory once again!) So basically, Devona and Photics get together... and many MANY years later... their childrens' childrens' children carry on the bloodline. Eventually, one of the decendants of the Photics Clan gets married, then gives birth to a baby Paladin - TANK or Photics reincarnated. I'm thinking on having ONLY ONE character in Guild Wars 2, as there may not be a level cap at all. If there is no level cap, it makes the most sense to focus on one character.
The Order of Whispers knows about the bloodline. That's why it's important for them to keep Devona and Photics alive. Plus, the Order is fighting against the forces of Abaddon. That makes Photics a natural ally.
