Default Torgas Prim Interviews TANK

The Guild Wars Vault, over at IGN, is one of the more friendly Guild Wars fansites. When I was asked to participate in an interview, I was a bit surprised. Aren't we supposed to be enemies? Apparently not, as Torgas Prim was really excited about this interview. How I could I refuse? Back in February, I was emailed a bunch of questions. I had a really bad cold at the time too, but I stayed up late and I wrote some answers. The published responses are about three months old. In other words, this is before I learned about Guild Wars 2. I'm surprised at how close I was with my Guild Wars recommendations.

Here's excerpt from the interview...
I think Nightfall is something of a warning for ArenaNet. While chapter 3 is far from a failure, I don't consider the sales to be spectacular. I think that's why we haven't heard too much about chapter 4. I'm hoping that ArenaNet went back to the drawing board. Do we really need thousands of skills to choose from? No! Do we need new experiences to enjoy? Yes! Hopefully the next chapter of Guild Wars is filled with new types of gameplay.
With the mysterious appearance and disappearance of Guild Wars: Utopia, I had a feeling that ArenaNet was up to something. I suspected that ArenaNet went back to the drawing board, but I didn't think that they'd nuke the whole game. I admire the guts it takes to do such a thing. Guild Wars is a successful franchise, but ArenaNet is putting that on the line. ArenaNet is taking a huge risk to make the Guild Wars franchise even better.
