Easy there Moo... don't get mad at me because I think that the system is broken. I was never a fan of the skill capture system. I wanted to play Guild Wars... not Pokemon. I liked how ArenaNet was trying to be creative, but I think simplicity works better in this situation.

Guild Wars is overwhelming for most new players. ArenaNet should take a hint from Nintendo. Does the Wii have the best graphics out there? No... but it's more friendly to gamers of all ages. I think World of Warcraft works better because there was greater focus on creating an immersive world - not an online card game.

Just about everything in World of Warcraft was done somewhere else first. That doesn't make it a game for dummies. Pacman, Tetris, The Legend of Zelda... these were easy games to learn, but it took practice to master.

Guild Wars has a steep learning curve. Instead of seeing 1000 skills in Guild Wars 2, I think I'd enjoy the game more if they made it more inviting for new players and if more was going on in the game world. Guild Wars PvE gameplay is basically... walk, walk, walk, fire, fire, fire, walk, walk, walk. Heroes added more tactical gameplay to the game, but it's still a damage race.

Why is this particular opinion important? If I made a top 50 list, would I end up on the NCsoft RSS feed?
