Thinking about new skills for chapter 2 for the existing classes - what would you like to see?
I would like the following:
1. Ranger skill (beast mastery) - Befriend Animal
cost 10 energy, -1 regen, maintained
Charm an animal to fight for you. Animal attacks as though it was the primary pet, and use of pet skills is executed by all befriended animals too.
Caster loses 1 energy whenever any befriended animal takes damage.
If befriended animal dies, ranger takes 50..10 damage.
2. Mesmer Hex - soothe frenzy
cost 25 energy, -1 regen, maintained
Enemy cannot execute physical attacks while this is maintained.
Ends when enemy takes physical damage (not elemental damage)
When hex ends, caster takes 100..30 damage.
3. Elementalist skill - Find Familiar
Cost 10 energy, then keep on toolbar.
With a familiar all spells cost 10% less to cast (rounded down), and elemental attributes are deemed to be +1 while casting.
If familiar dies, all skills are disabled for 10 seconds, energy drops to 0 and caster suffers from double exhaustion.
Not sure whether they should be elites or not.
