Default Energy +5 Sword Crafting Materials

Hi all,

I finished the game some weeks ago with my monk, and foolishly forgot to write down the crafting materials required for the +5 energy sword.
I want to bring those materials with my warrior when she finishes.

I have scoured the web and can't find any reference to the materials.

Does anyone know?

I'm not quite sure what it is, but my guess is 30 iron, 10 steel, and 10k...I'll actually check on that right now

Well, I just checked, it's 40 iron, 6 steel, and 10k for the energy +5 katana.

You will most likely find a good energy + 5 sword when doing some deep runs, i found a zod sword with +5 nrj just a few days ago. paying 10k to get one is a bit too much considering that they are crafter's.

Lol too late.
I bought one. Now I just need to get lucky and find a +20% enchanting mod AND get it off the sword I find it on...

I just got an energy+5 Flatbow, but I can't say I see a great need for it, or for the +5 sword either. With the current setup my ranger has, I very seldom ever run out of energy and my warrior is mostly Adrenaline based except for 2 stances and Savage slash and also very rarely has energy issues. I suppose one could carry one of the +5's to switch in when needed, but you'd probably gain 5 energy in the time it takes to swap weapons. Wouldn't +15% damage (or more) be more useful?

BTW, what's a max damage gold Shocking Flatbow with energy+5 worth? (I know, I know, use the price check... )

Energy +5 on a sword is nuts. Back in the days before Factions release the Energy +5 HoD sword sold for 400k because Anet removed the crafter from the game. An extra 5 energy on a monk makes the difference of life and death at certain situations, especially for 55s. My monk now has 62 energy thanks to the sword and the energy healing ankh offhand.
