I don't understand what you mean by "these ways of working." I think several things went wrong here:
- Someone (randomly?) invited your guild into an alliance without setting expectations beforehand.
- Your guild accepted an invitation into an alliance without really understanding what you were getting into.
This is not a serious problem. If the alliance leader has expectations that you feel are excessive, you can quit the alliance at any time. Conversely, if your guild is unwilling to comply with the alliance's rules, the alliance leader is well within their rights to expel your guild. Either way, you're both better off. This is not only true for alliances, but for guilds in general.
