Question GameFly - Do You Like It?

I remember running down the block to the local video store. I was able to rent Nintendo Entertainment System games for $1.10 a day. It was amazing fun. I must have played hundreds of NES, SNES and GENESIS games.

Today, I imagine that I could drive to Blockbuster, but that rarely happens. I haven't rented a game since the days of the Dreamcast. Yet, now that Photics.com is back to a general gaming website, being able to do more reviews could be good idea.

I started looking at GameFly. It seems interesting, but I don't know. Am I really going to play that many games a month? I started looking at the list of most popular Wii games. Nothing really motivated me. I think that I already own all the best Wii games... all two of them.

(Three if you count BWii)

So, I'm posting up a poll. When it comes to renting games, which do you prefer? Brick n' Mortar or Mail Order?

I love GameFly! I never had a shipping problem with them, it is cheaper for me to have 2 games out for as long as I want and send it back when I'm done than it is for me to go out and buy the game, then just trade it in again. Not only that but they have some great pricing on used games. If I have a game at my house and I really like it, I simply go online and buy it right through them. I get it for a huge discounted price (usually getting 60 dollar games for around 30 or a little more depending on the game and the supply they have), thus saving me money. If I beat it and don't like it I send it back. This was great for XBL as I got a huge gamer score by just renting the games and sending them back, as I usually only play games once and never touch them again. They just collect dust.

Knowing you have a Wii, I'm not sure how they would benefit you. As there isn't a big selection of games out there that take over 3 hours to beat (hahah kiddy games ), I'm just JK! In any case, I think you'd be better off getting another console system and renting games for both the Wii and your other system! Just my 2 cents.
