From a purely mercenary standpoint the edge bomb is the most efficient build for fame farming, in my view. Within about one minute you know if you will win or not. Farming teams usually set a rally point in a specific district and if it doesn't work everyone just zones out, regroups and goes again.
I only do this occasionally but usually I play the ranger although if another guildie wants that spot I can be a saccer.
I can put the build up later when I have more time, but it is one of the easiest there is. The only trick is to run up to lay EoE and to time the saccs quickly behind the casting of Mark of Protection so everyone doesn't die. One nice thing is you can practice the timing easily in any PvE spot.
