Even Drupal, nice simple free site/forum software has that
I have found that regardless of which content management system you choose, there will always be certain strengths and limitations to any system.

If this feature request was really REALLY important to me, I would simply find a second type of tongue smiley to upload. That's probably the best solution, as it's always nice to have extra emoticons to choose from.

Hmmm... I suppose this is on my mental list of neat things to do for the site.
  • Install Arcade Mod
  • Create games for Arcade Mod
  • Add "guide" section for Guild Wars area
  • Smilies
OK... are we far enough off-topic yet?

I think we could manage to get a little farther off topic, but not much.. are you going to add "too stupid" to the list or not?

Bah... I'm not putting that on the poll. The video made me laugh at a time when I could really use a good laugh.

If you don't like the videos, what do you think of the mouse?

Now the mouse looks sexy!
I like computer equipment that lights up.

The lightup 'Z' on the mouse looks pretty neat! But I think I'm going to stick with my Logitech G5

I just bought it on Saturday because my old Logitech Dual Optical mouse gave out on me after 5 years of faithful service

This thing is crazy.. it uses a new laser tracking system instead of optical giving it 2000 dpi and letting you use it on any shiny surface except for clear glass or a mirror. If you've used an optical mouse for any period of time you know how bad the tracking can be on a barely shiny surface, but this thing practically works anywhere. It also includes a weight cartridge that you can swap little metal weights in and out of to customize up to 38g of weight.. I use it at full weight and it gives a very nice sturdy feel to it.

The G5 also allows for sensitivity changes on the fly from 400 to 800 to 2000dpi with a handy little LED display that shows you which sensitivity you're using.

I swear by Logitech .. I've never had a problem with any of their products, and generally they look much nicer than any of the competition imo

Ooooohhh... LEDs!

...but $70 is a bit much. I spent $20 on my current mouse. It's optical and it lights up. It cycles through different colors while stationary.

Targus Mini Kaleidoscope Optical Retractable Mouse

I like the Reaper Gaming Mouse, as it is a bit more manly than my current mouse. It's also less than half the Logitech G5 mouse. At Amazon.com, the Reaper comes in at $31.

...and no, Ideazon isn't paying me to say that

I like Logitech stuff too, as I'm planning on switching to the G-15 keyboard later this year. I'm thinking this is a good idea for a general Photics e-zine. Before I found out about the Z-board, I wouldn't even bother with this stuff. The factory shipped Keyboard and Mouse was good enough for me. Not anymore! Now I like my keyboard and mouse to be tricked out!

Ah, but $70 is list price.. if we're going to bring Amazon in on this, the G5 is $46.33, merely $15 more than the Reaper.

This is Ideazon's first attempt at a mouse, so there's no way it's going to compare to Logitech's top of the line gaming mouse.. Logitech is, after all, the "#1 World leader in mice"

If you add in the G5's 3 year warranty, (I'd almost guarantee it will keep working for 5 years) the extra $15 would be well spent.. not to mention all the features and ergonomics the G5 has over the Reaper.
