Default Just a question to Photics

My name is Alex Eleniel and I belong to a guild called the Crystal Guard. Some weeks ago, I started to make guild wars based comics and I would like to share it with the community at photics.com. Well, as I don't want to set competition against photics (and I have to say that I would only lose if I did that as you comics rock!) I would like to ask first. Am I allowed to post my comics here and if yes, where, and if not, why. I will hold no hard feelongs, by the way.
Just wanted to share. I've posted them on guru and on gwonline but I wanted you to see it.
Please answer, Photics.

I'm not opposed to this, but the comics would have to be REALLY GOOD. Plus, this would be voluntary work on your part. Also, since you've presented this question on the forum, I think the community should answer it.

Hey everybody, what do you think of other Guild Wars comics at Photics.com?

What's the link to your comic Alex?

Actually it'd be wonderful with more than one for me since new chapters of Lost in Ascalon only come every... 2-4 weeks, so with another comic we don't have to wait in boredom

If the comics have to be REALLY good, I think I can't handle. I'm still learning and the first four episodes are still very weak but I'm working on an improved episode 5.

You can find my comics at gwguru, gwonline.net or deviantart.

As I said they still need improvement.

By the way, I'm planning to make a special episode to make hommage to the photics.com arcade, by making one of my characters play rock paper scissors with gwen and then having her saying the lines from the game. I would also post a link to the photics.com arcade and would thank photics.
Am I authorized to do that?

I didn't make the game

Matthew Resendiz wrote the text in that game. You'd have to ask him to see if he's bothered by it. As for linking to the Photics Arcade, eh... lots of people do that. I don't seem to mind. HA!

Yes, I knew you didn't wrote them as I've seen the credits but I reacall reading somewhere that I had to ask you. Well, it must be my mistake.

I still want to know your opinion on the comics.

I agree there should me more than one comic, as a matter of fact. I am about to make one on Gwen with the help of other LIA fans(Lost In Ascalon). It is going to be based on your gwen, since you didnt actually do one on gwen(I hope you don't mind!). And it will be coming sometime in April-May. maybe LATE march.
And if I could post it here it would be awesome!! And I love to read comics, especially Guild Wars comics so it would rock! And there would be more traffic definitely, I barely found the site, just because I got bored and surfed through the official guild wars fan sites list on their site. But now that I found it I love it!! So yes there would be more links to it, so more traffic= more intelligent(I hope) conversation in the thread, and more games submitted for arcade purposes. But you should probably make the comics their own forum(comics or something).

If you have any questions on my comic please put it in its own thread so as not to clutter this ones true purpose up.

Well, i've made episode 5. I spent 1 week trying to get it better. I know it's not perfect but it's the best i can do with the tools at my disposal.

Regarding those older chapters, and as Anet said: "We won't be making significant changes to older chapters." I want to get to the last chapters and think: I was really bad at that time!

Create a site of my own. Well, I won't do it for the same reason i don't play wow. I have to pay! Well, that and the cartoonist look of it.
I know there are free sites but they have limited options regarding customising, so i think i'll keep posting them at the gwo and gwg.
