In Canada, anyone over 18 can buy and shoot family fireworks (some campgrounds won't let you), but you need a license to shoot the professional shows that most people go to see.

Fireworks are everywhere on Canada Day. Many cities have their own big show(s), while many people shoot their own (smaller) stuff in their backyards, like Nemi.

I believe in Toronto, there were 4 huge fireworks shows on July 1st.
