Your videocard must support pixel shader 1.4

Got my reply this morning. Basically if a fresh install doesn't work, i need to try iy with my antivirus disabled. If that doesn't help, then I'm SOL.

anti virus is always a problem. also try disabling firewall

I let my router use its firewall. the Windows built-in firewall is too much of a hassle.

I tried a fresh install, stopping as many processes as possible (including the anti-virus) and it still wont play. Guess i'll just go play either GW or Global Operations (good FPS that isn't very well known).
