Thinking about new skills for chapter 2 for the existing classes - what would you like to see?

I would like the following:

1. Ranger skill (beast mastery) - Befriend Animal
cost 10 energy, -1 regen, maintained
Charm an animal to fight for you. Animal attacks as though it was the primary pet, and use of pet skills is executed by all befriended animals too.
Caster loses 1 energy whenever any befriended animal takes damage.
If befriended animal dies, ranger takes 50..10 damage.

2. Mesmer Hex - soothe frenzy
cost 25 energy, -1 regen, maintained
Enemy cannot execute physical attacks while this is maintained.
Ends when enemy takes physical damage (not elemental damage)
When hex ends, caster takes 100..30 damage.

3. Elementalist skill - Find Familiar
Cost 10 energy, then keep on toolbar.
With a familiar all spells cost 10% less to cast (rounded down), and elemental attributes are deemed to be +1 while casting.
If familiar dies, all skills are disabled for 10 seconds, energy drops to 0 and caster suffers from double exhaustion.

Not sure whether they should be elites or not.

What do people think?

Any other new skills?

I don't think there should be any new skills. I don't want to play Pokemon. I don't want to collect them all. I think that's what hurt the design of Chapter 1. Think of all the time wasted on skill creation... draw the little icons, program all the little spell effects, organize them in a pretty little database, balanced the skills, tweak the skills, change something minor, rebalance all the skills once again... it's a waste of time.

GUILD WARS... not Yu Gi Oh... not Magic: The Gathering... Not Duel Masters... GUILD WARS!!!

Chapter 2 should be more about...

Guild Features...
War-like PvP...
Improved Interface...

New skills are likely to be in chapter 2... but I won't enjoy them if more important features aren't implemented first.

Valid point.

But do you foresee a removal of skills altogether?
Or ability to use all skills at once?

If that happened, would it remove the Pokemon aspect?
Would it be fair or playable, or realistic?

And then, if they do fix those issues, would you like new skills?

And if you would like new skills.... what would they be?

I think there should be some new moves.

The ones you said I do not think are the kind of spells they would add sorry to say.
