what do you think?
Is the stock going to rebound...

If you look at the price over 3 months you will notice it was even lower 2 months ago but shot up again. I would be curious to know if that growth is related to Factions anticipation and release.

I personally would believe that it will show growth again, but i am no stock broker and have not delved into NCsoft corporate so don't invest on my advice please

Well... that's what I'm wondering. It would seem logical that NCsoft should bounce back with Q2 results. I'm not giving stock advice either. Yet, I sit here and wonder... do I buy some NCsoft stock? Can an American buy stock in a Korean company? If I buy enough... can I tell ArenaNet what to do? HA HA HA.

I like NCsoft!

I don't think they're evil in the least.

In January of 2004, "something" happened that prompted me to look into NCsoft. After a little investigation, I agreed with what ArenaNet said. NCsoft is a great parent company. I like the way NCsoft presents themselves. When you look at MMORPGs, there are not too many options for developers. Who you going to go with... SOE... Microsoft? As you can see with Sigil Games, it was tough on either side.

Still... I think it's a good idea to keep an eye on NCsoft. Guild Wars is the best game they've got. No matter how good Guild Wars is, if the other games fail... that could be very bad news for ArenaNet. NCsoft basically makes fee based MMORPGs. World of Warcraft has ruined that market. If Lineage II, City of Heroes and Tabula Rasa followed a similar pricing model as Guild Wars, I would have all three of those games... and I would likely have fansites too.

Maybe NCsoft should do what SOE does... an all access pass.
Now that would be awesome!

Default Why are they still bleeding cash?!

I just don't understand it. Why is NCsoft stock still hurting?!

http://finance.yahoo.com/q?s=036570.KS

Do you think Guild Wars: Factions sales are below expectations? I mean it was #1 for a week... were they expecting more time at the top of the charts, or are investors unaware of Guild Wars: Factions sales?

Is the overall health of NCsoft in trouble? This all seems to go back to the First Quarter report. Did that really scare investors? Will the Second Quarter report be better? Even if Guild Wars: Factions sales are great, what good will that do if the other games are hurting?

Anyone here pick up Auto Assault?

Truth is, World of Warcraft has ruined the MMORPG market for me. If I'm going to pay a subscription fee again, it's going to be for that game. Is that what we're seeing... a shift from NCsoft games to World of Warcraft... or is this just normal fluxation?

This is fascinating stuff... although a bit depressing. Why is NCsoft stock falling?!

I tried Auto Assault because of all the keys I got from Pre-Order package and Factions itsself, all of the servers were Very Low server load, and for some reason I couldn't log on. It also it 10GB, and takes a while to install patches.
