No explanation of inscriptions. I was hoping to hear on how exactly these would work (and if I should be buying up some cheap things now to salvage later ). Questions were all pretty generic and you can guess the answers to most if you've played the previous releases. Character level will remain at 20 and such. Here's my personal favorite though:

Yah... where were the good questions?

Like... will the Henchmen/Heroes from Chapter 3 work in Chapter 2 and Chapter 1?

And yah... I would have worded the "Success" question differently.

Clone, grab PC Gamer November issue. It says something about inscriptions. It doesn't detail it, but it seems pretty clear.

Yeah, I grabbed that one, but still had more questions, like whether the inscriptions will be available to buy or craft from NPCs, or will they just be salvaged or found. If the latter, I was thinking about buying some cheap 15^50's with bad reqs for cheap now in the hopes I could save a bit of cash down the line. Guess I'll find out soon. Ordered my copy from Amazon already.

Heh. I think they will be like weapon mods. Only will be able to get from weapons.

All good questions! However, this FAQ is more about the game (product) and not so much about playing the game or gameplay mechanics. Like merging accounts and whether there's a preorder and when the servers go live. We go into access points in the game, but I don't even know that we mention professions in that section, or at least by name.

I agree that your questions are very relevant, and we'll get those answered in the Gameplay Section, as we add new content for Nightfall.

If you insist...

Will there be a way to try out Guild Halls without buying it? (a scrimmage maybe)

There were elite missions mentioned in PC Gamer in Nightfall, which would be open to all who get to a certain part in the NF storyline. Was the idea of having these missions inspired by TC then later Keys, when we held open The Deep to everyone?

The aforementioned inscription questions:

1. How do you get them?
2. How much do you expect them to cost?
3. Are there any restrictions on where they can be used (greens, etc.)?

And some other general questions:

1. Will there be any annoyances to entering high-end areas in Nightfall (only available when you have favor, needing a ferry or being in one guild out of a thousand to get there, etc.)?
2. Will we see an auction house in Nightfall?
3. Will your NPC heroes from Nightfall be able to journey back with you to previous chapters?

Those are good questions!

If there was an auction house, but it was limited to those who owned Chapter 3, how would that make you feel? I remember reading what ArenaNet considered global game content. I don't remember if an Auction House was part of that. I assume it would be, as it would work better if everyone had access.
