When a guild wins the Hall of Heroes, their Guild Name is broadcasted throughout the world. Knowing this, more than a few guilds have used this system to broadcast a message. Many are insulting, others are just stupid, but some are pretty funny. Here's my favorite one so far...

as i joined the photics community yesterday, i thought i should start posting.
so, i went to guild wars and saw this( i just don't post a picture because i'm really noob and don't know how to do it):

Playing Playmobile in Hoh(Fool) has won a battle in the hall of heroes and keeps the favor of the gods for europe.

(and i also don't know why my post is above photics', differently from other threads - i had never realised how noob i am)

It sounds like your preferences are set differently. Check your "Thread Display Mode" options, in your User Control Panel...

...I have mine set to Linear - Oldest First. You might have it set to Newest First.

I've seen some really funny ones, but I've forgotten most of them. Here are a couple of memorable ones (I'll add more if I remember):

• Lasers Go Pew Pew [PEW]
• Your Math Teacher [Math]
• Getting High With [Koss]

When I played WoW, there were quite a few guild names on my server (Eldre'Thalas) that made me chuckle. The only ones I can think of at the moment are:

Fatkidsarehardtokidnap [They didn't last long before facing the wrath of GMs as far as I know]

Me So Hordee [One of my personal favorites since I have the sense of humor of a child in middle school]

Bad Moo Rising [what was with the Horde guilds and their clever puns?]

When I played WoW,[Rogues do it from behind] was a funny one for me.

I already knew your Math theacher [Math]
It has been GotW(guild of the week)

I know a guild called "Monkeys Throw [Poop]"
I think ive seen Your Math theacher [Math] somewhere also...

In fact I have... somewhere that is... Arr, I keep on forgetting these guild names!

These ones might not be funny, but I think you've at least (Very likely actually) heard of these guilds. Its "There Is A Cow Level [cow]", Powerpuff Boys [PUFF], Listen To [iPod], Legion of Losers [LOL] (Yep, has been GotW in the past), Nightmare On Sesame Street [ELMO], Lionz Arch Police Department [LAPD], Il Female Body Inspectors Il [FBI], and We Owned Your [FaCe]. All of these guilds are in the top 400 in the Guild Ladder
