What are your thoughts about Guild Wars being able to be played offline ?

The reason i ask if because of my job i often do not have access to the net during my 'downtime' and sometimes when i feel like playing I am unable too.

I know that it is meant to be played online but i often quite enjoy doing PvE by myself. I remember when I got into the alpha through Photics, going online and playing was quite often playing by yourself. Besides back then you had no heroes and only had 4 henchies to chose from, and they weren't the smartest either, which made it quite a challange to complete some of the missions. It was heaps of fun though. Now if you want to play by yourself you have heroes and a wide variety of henchies to chose from.

Obviously you wouldn't be able to play the characters you play online in offline mode, that way you couldn't hack your online characters....not that i would want to do that to my offline characters but i am sure that there are some people that would try this.

So do you think that ArenaNet should enable a single player mode for those that want to play but due to either not having or the non availability at the time for a user to access the internet
