Haha, I guess they wanted to release a fix for the exploit as fast as possible, so they had no time to write a detailed report.. still, why bother with this kind of news entry .. it doesn't actually tell us anything.

I can just imagine all the money farmers in China quickly logging in after seeing this news entry to see if it was their exploit that was fixed lol.

On a side note .. I think it would be better if you gave the news bots their own forum. I regularly ignore the Guild Wars forum because 99% of the time new posts are just the news bots spamming the forum again. There has to be a better way.

You're not the only one to mention this problem. However, if I moved the RSS Feed to a new forum, won't that new forum be ignored? What would be the point of having the RSS Feeds?

Here's the logic...

General Guild Wars discussion is focused on a single spot. Once Guild Wars 2 hits beta, the activity in the Photics.com Guild Wars forum should be significant. The RSS Feed posts will be spread out. Also, the RSS Feed posts become a focal point for conversation. Instead of ignoring the posts, why not comment on each one. If one person starts to do it, others will likely join the conversation. Then, instead of the RSS Feed being a symbol of discontent, the site robot is a bringer of joy... something new to chat about!

If you think about it, does it not make sense?
If not for the Site Robot, would this discussion exist?

You make a valid point .. We could almost turn it into an activity .. come up with a witty comment to make on the day's news posts. Thanks for enriching our lives RSS FEED bot

Now that's what I like to see!

There certainly is a lot to discuss. That's one of the things I enjoy about online games. Making witty comments about the latest Guild Wars news sounds like fun!
