I like the allied guilds idea.. sort of follows Photic's distaste for Arenanet not following through on their original concepts ;)

originaly they said "adversaries live by your mercy or die by your wrath" (or something similar) where as now, it's basically a free-for all :/

the current customization "feature" in Guild Wars doesnt make much sense to me .. if a black smith can modify a weapon to be more effective in my hands .. why cant a black smith customize the same weapon for someone else once I'm finished with it? o.O

some good suggestions Ryder, thanks for sharing :)

Nemi brought up an important point. I dont understand why a weapon cutomized cannot be "un customized." With armor i can understand, no guarantee it will fit others as well as it does you. But with weapons there should be this problem. I end up forsaking the damage bonus because I know that later on i will find a better weapon. Now that doesnt make sense. In real life, By using the weapon, over time, you grow "accustomed" to it. now that isnt the same thing but it is the same concept.

I don't customize my weapon for the +20% damage either, because I know that I wont be able to trade it or use it on a different character. If I do customize my current best weapon, for sure the next thing I pick up will be another weapon better than the one I just customized :/

What I am confused about is....if they can make armor for you from materials, why can't they MAKE weapons?? Thay can customize them, sure....all well and good, but what if you want to tweak something to your liking? Or make it stronger by using better materials? I think this would add a good depth to the game, also getting above lvl 20 to lvl 30 or something would help too. =P Dam lvl 28 monsters....Grrrrr.

I thought you could have weapons crafted for you... but I don't remember any of them being that great.

You can have the weapon guys make you weapons, but they are not good, and they cost! You can always get a better weapon by exploring for a few hours. And, if you find extras, you just sell them or salvage them.
