In a game where you cannot die, in a game without end, how do you know when you've won? How do you know when to stop playing? Online games are different than the console games that I grew up with. MMORPGs are designed to keep you playing. What keeps you playing Guild Wars or online games in general?
After taking Cavalon, it was as if I saw the ending credits. I don't know if the game will ever deliver a similar experience. How could that feeling of victory be matched? That's why I don't play as much. Yet, Guild Wars has no monthly fee. The world changes, regardless if I log in or not. My characters exist in the game, regardless if I play or not. This is unlike any other gaming experience that I'm used to. There is no subscription to cancel. TANK cannot die, as long as ArenaNet keeps doing business as usual. I guess that's why I'll be picking up Chapter 3. The game's not over... and neither is this comic series!
