Lost In Ascalon #49 - Vexing Visions

The Lost In Ascalon storyline is based on actual Guild Wars lore. In the game, when you reunite with Gwen, she's not too quick to discuss her history. To reveal Gwen's past, you'll need to complete many quests to learn her secrets... or you could just read the related Guild Wars Wiki articles.

Even though there wasn't a kissing scene between Gwen and Photics, Devona is upset with the situation. Even if Guild Wars had a kissing emote, I wouldn't have used it here. Photics is happy to see Gwen again, but he's not in love with her. Does Devona know that for sure? Considering that Photics left Devona alone in Elona, her feelings are not pleasant. Devona fought against Nightfall, only to find her love with someone younger. Mordakai warned against the dangers of Elona. The danger was not just in losing their lives, but in losing their love.

Uh oh! Jealousy rears it`s ugly head.. I can`t wait to see what happens. I`ve enjoyed the latest issues of the comic, I`m glad you got a new video card so you can continue

I've seen how popular Lost In Ascalon has become, but I'm not sure that I'm going to continue though. I've been thinking about a truly lofty project... something that, if done right, would make Photics.com an incredibly popular Guild Wars fansite. I believe I have the skills and resources to make this happen, but I'm still not sure if I want to invest the time, money and effort.

Anyway, the main point is that I'm thinking about the future of this website... A LOT. This is a good time for feedback. It's good to know that you enjoy the comic!

I think that Devona has a right to feel that way. Photics has been obsessed with finding Gwen. What if he did have feelings for her deep down? He left Devona in Elona even when her father said she would be in danger. Isn't that going too far?
