Nice issue although I would disagree a bit with your comments regarding Hard Mode particularly in Tyria. As you know, when Tyria was designed it did not account for the several hundred new skills that were added with chapter 2 and 3 as well as Heroes. What Hard Mode brings is a game that is at least slightly challenging from one that was frankly just too easy for experienced players who have unlocked all the skills in all three chapters. I have found that most of the missions do require at least some build planning with two real players with heroes in order to complete the mission plus bonuses in Hard mode. I still have a few more to go though and expect to need to get a full guild group for Ring of Fire missions.

I find Vanquishing to be a bit of a grind but at least the drops are better. I am about halfway through Elona Vanquishing and have found a few spots to be quite challenging when using just heroes and hench - like Poisoned Outcrops which took me over two hours to clear - lol.

I like Hard Mode overall as it gives the veteran players something to work on until GW:EN comes out.

Well I finished Guardian of Tyria (and maxed title number 15 for IVI) last night. I actually thought the jungle missions were some of the hardest as me and one guildie cruised through the desert and the shiverpeaks with all hero teams. I think for the entire 25 mission sequence the most people that we needed was for Hell's Precipice which included six highly experienced players and two heroes. I would say that the most important thing in doing this is to know the missions, use the appropriate builds and be patient.

Hmm I haven't even beat any of them yet, so I don't know.

Is ArenaNet aiming for a window of opportunity in 2009? What's Blizzard going to be doing during all this, twiddling their thumbs?
I have new information on this now. I have heard rumors from friends and such that blizzard is doing a World of Star craft. Is it going to be WoW all over again? Star craft had better support than war craft, if they do this is the rest of the gaming industry ruined?

Shroud of silence gag is indeed funny.

Anyway, Photics, you planning to complete HM in any of the campaigns? Or have you? We have no idea what titles you have. Tell us!

I haven't decided what I'm going to do. I deleted TANK and I recreated him specifically for farming titles. Yet, I stumble on the first title. Do I go for Survivor or Defender of Ascalon? I'm thinking Survivor, because I consider death leveling to be an exploit. (I've already decided that TANK is going to be my main character for Guild Wars 2.)

So OK, Survivor... but I'm not ready to leave Pre-Searing yet.

PHOTICS has Protector of Ascalon and Protector of Cantha. That's it... only two titles maxxed. Neither of those titles really mean anything, since I have to go back and color in the map... and do hardmode. I figured that I'd use TANK to clean house. Yet, I have so many other things to do that are more important.

Titles are a way to show off. Heh, I think I do enough of that already. Right now, I'm working on making this site better. Webmaster... that's the title I'm working on.
