Getting your character to level 20 as quickly as possible, usually includes having a high level solo high leveled enemies while you soak up the exp.

Cool, sounds like a neat way to get free xp...but then you'd prolly have to pay someone to help you out, unless it was a fellow guild mate. Thanks for the info.

The scrolls you can get to increase the exp help out alot when power levling. you just gotta find a good place to use them

I had a guildie W/R help me get to level 12 where he would solo and I would run around trying not to get killed while soaking up experience. At that point I did all the missions to ascend.

For those interested it took me about 50 hours to do pre-searing, ascend, do the two 15 point attribute quests, do the -50 hp focus quests, cap Word of Healing, Offering of Blood and Spiteful Spirit, and do the Mesmer secondary quest. Doing the missions added substantially to the total time but what can I say it was fun.

The only surprise for me was the cost of the multiple sets of ascetic armor at Droknar's Forge plus all the runes needed for healing, protection, and the 55 monk setups. I think the grand total was well over 100k requiring me to sell my stockpile of obsidian shards.

Ive been experimenting a bit with a thought i had.
It worked alright at the mo but needs some tweaking, only done it a couple of times mind u.
Took an Ele down to UW with Mist form as my elite, using serpents quickness and a 20% Enchant mod on my staff.
As Uw is no longer solo'able (to my knowledge) i took a SS/SV necro down with me.
Coupled with SQ and the enchant mod Mist Form lasts indefinately.
Pro's: A cheap alternative to a 55hp monk.
A Bigger Pool of Energy

Cons: Ele's are ugly
No Spellbreaker due to the need to be a E/R
No Energy gain. Apart from water attune if u want to take it.
Need to kill those damn nightmares asap, or u buggered.

I tried soloing the Underworld last night with my Mo/W and it went pretty well albeit very slow. I used the following setup:

Mo/W

Shield of Judgement (Elite)
Zealot's Fire
Healing Breeze
Bonetti's Defense
Protective Spirit
Essence Bond
Balthazar's Spirit
Mending

It is important not to recast Protective Spirit or Healing Breeze to quickly or the enemies will run from the AOE. Also don't cast Bonetti's when Shield of Judgement is up, of course.

It is also key to be ready to switch weapon sets off the -55 hp focus to bring health back up to 105 whenever Dying Nightmares are aggroed as they strip enchantments and you may need the extra hp.

On my sixth or seventh Bladed Aaxte I got an ecto drop and called it a night. It took me about a 20 minutes to get that far but it was my first solo run.

I have been having some fun experimenting soloing different places with my Invincimonk and have found the following to be a superior setup for me.

Shield of Judgement (elite)
Zealot's Fire
Protective Spirit
Healing Breeze
Blessed Signet
Blessed Aura
Balthazar's Spirit
Mending

I have found that I like using Blessed Signet for energy gains much more than Bonetti's Defense. Also Blessed Aura is good for the lengthening of Protective Spirit and Healing Breeze. The net result is far better overall energy management and speed. This setup is faster because after each battle Blessed Signet can be used to speed up energy recovery which is not an option with Bonetti's Defense.
