Stronger and better minions- Vampiric, Flesh Golem
Anti-Enchants - Order of Apost which will probably make IWAY even stronger. Gaze of Contempt
Anti-Spike - Spoil Victor; again another IWAY booster.
Anti-IWAY - Wail of Doom
IWAY Booster - Malign Intervention
An even stronger Necromancer spike group than deathly swarm: Icey Veins and Discord.
Look at me, I just healed myself for 200hp while doing 200 damage Vampiric Swarm ...Similarly Opressive Gaze



Um...yeah necromancers are going to be ridiculous and so versatile.

Necromancers are already the most versatile class there is. :-)
You can make several good builds using any of the three skill chains.

Death Magic gives you minions, self healing, and some decent damage dealing spells.
Blood Magic is good for support, damage, self healing, and AoE healing.
Curses is good for ****ing off the enemy with degeneration, and Spiteful Spirit.
And they get fairly good energy management via Soul Reaping.

I love the "inside out rhinocerous" look of the flesh golem. Now if we could just assign them names like rangers do their pets....

After the AOE Nerf last year, making enemies run away, Necro's have become the masters of damage dealing.

With Minions, Wells, Disease and assorted Curses, AOE damage from necro's is sweet. The new spells are going to make Necro's the most desireable class in the game. IMHO

I don't know... I do alright with my single-burst AOE fire attacks.

Yes just try out my Direct Fire build. It makes necro dmg look mesmer dmg.

In PvE, 20 x lvl 18 Minions and a well of suffering (-6 degen), is going to do a lot more damage, a lot faster and with more energy in reserve than any ele (soul reaping rocks for energy).

More importantly, the area of effect of necro pets is massive. They hold agro, they attack multiple target, targets don't run from them and they put out masses of damage. Death nova one, taste of death it, rinse and repeat ... Huge damage!!!! 100+ damage to all targets in the area and poison.

With the benefit of Vamp Horrors and Taste of Death ... you will do more personal healing than any monk can give you too (not sure about the vamp horrors, just making an assumption coz I aint tried it, taste still does upto 420 hp when stealing from a fully healed minion)
