Basically, Microsoft has a version of XBOX Live for PC Games. There used to be a subscription fee for the PC Games version, but now it's gone. Games for Windows - Live is now available gratis... that means free.

At least their trying, but they still fail. Vista is the windows ME of this year. I can't wait until the new operating system comes out, and Vista becomes a bad memory of the past. I am sort of glad that they made windows live playing free, it costing was the entire reason I didn't play before. The only thing is the PC versions are about a year behind the other versions. They need to play catch up with their games. Maybe release some out to both systems when they come out.
