I have a Spider already buti've seen a few phoenix and they own they seem to do damg to mosnsters much quicker than my spider. and Spans wolf last night was dealing dmg like crazy. So should i drop my Spider once im able to get a Phoenix or get another animal and lvl it up and stuff? BTW when i use my Spider im at 16 in BM.

hmmm I don't know what to say. The spider does the most dmg out of all the animals. It could have been the armor since I believe the wolf and phoenix do elemental dmg while the spider does dark dmg.

The spider does piercing damage (physical).
The wolf does slashing damage (physical).

I don't know what the phoenix does.

Guild Wiki doesn't have much to say about Phoenix's, but all pets do physical damage - wolf and tiger and lynx are slashing, Moa and Spider are piercing, and the Bear is blunt damage.
I'd assume that the Phoenix is piercing, as it is a bird - like the Moa.

Also, do you have a Dire Spider? If it is then you'll be doing the max damage, Elders do less damage but have more health, and Hearty have even more health and do less damage.

If you are asking how you can determine what evolution your pet is then just enter /petname to remove the pet's name and reveal the evolution (Dire, Elder or Hearty for fully evolved pets). Rename the pet by entering /petname followed by the name of the pet (ex. /petname Buster).

I just checked and its a dire spider so i guess i was wrong about the dmg then.

Yeah, all pets do physical damage. No pets do more damage than any other pets (provided that they're both dire, elder, etc.). No pets attack faster than any other pets too.
