I finally did it. I finally figured out how to restore the old database. That means thousands of posts have been restored and hundreds of Photics Forums accounts are activated again.

I was reading some of the old posts. Wow, they were good times. Hopefully the fun can start again!

I still have a lot of organizing to do. There are thousands of Guild Wars posts, so I have to figure out where I want to put them. In the meantime, everything should work. If there's a problem with your account, you can send me a private message or use the contact form.

Seeing all of the old threads again does bring back some memories.

After seeing the sub-forum for it, is your book still available? I never did get around to buying it.

I was just thinking about that. The book is not available right now, but I'm planning on bringing it back. I can send you an email when it's ready. OK?

You know what, I'm tired of being so secret. I liked ArenaNet because they were upfront and honest. I was invited into an Alpha test. That's awesome! This notion made me rethink my stragety. I think I'm going to let everyone know what I'm up to. I was worried about rival fansites stealing my ideas. Yet, this project is so far away from what typical fansites do. I think I can stop worrying about it.

The plan is to bring back Photics: Revisions as a cartoon movie, to be sold as a DVD (maybe interactive) through this website. To generate popularity for the DVD, I'm planning to launch Lost In Ascalon as a cartoon.

I've been working very hard on this change. It's taking a lot of time, which is why I'm glad Guild Wars 2 was delayed. It gives me more time to create. I'm happy with the quality of the work. Maybe I can show some examples in the Animation & Game Development thread. But right now, I'm going back and cleaning things up with the move.

...and yes, wow, the memories are amazing. This site has been around a long time and a lot of cool people have visited it!

Cartoon!? craziness!

I like your style.. I didn't see that coming at all.. but a cartoon takes an unprecedented amount of work, are you up for the challenge? I applaud your effort either way and look forward to seeing your samples

It is nice to see these old threads coming back .. a lot of old memories for sure, plus it boosted my post count over 500!!
