Video Guide Transcript
Welcome to the Photics.com Guild Wars Video Guide. I'm Mike Garofalo and this part nine of the Nightfall Bonus Missions tutorial. I had lot of trouble with this map, but at least getting to it was easy. Just complete one of the two previous missions and you'll be teleported into the zone. It doesn't matter if you followed Margrid or if you followed the Master of Whispers, you'll still end up here. Once you're ready, just talk to Unlucky Simon and that will start the mission.
The beginning of this map lets you know what you're in for. You can either take Dunkoro's advice, or you can make life difficult. For example, The Captain cannot be trusted, so kill him right away. If you don't, you'll still gonna have to kill him, but with even more enemies. That's Dunkoro's point. He's got experience. By looking at tiniest of details, he can help guide you through this mission. Of course, you can't actually see these details. You have to listen to what Dunkoro is saying. That's the bonus. Follow his advice, even though it may not make much sense. I say that because this map is a little buggy. Even though you're doing exactly what Dunkoro says, you might still have trouble completing the four tasks.
For the first task, just stay to your right. There's a path that leads up... and once you cross that path, Dunkoro will start yapping at ya! No no, don't go that way. Elite mobs are up there. We can't have you unlocking skills on this mission. Yah yah, whatever... just head the other way. There's another path near a waterfall... and that's where you'll want to go for the second task. Oh, and that's also when it starts to get a little tricky. As soon as you try to go up that path, Dunkoro will notice some footprints on the ground. He will tell you to hide near the waterfall, but there's monsters in the way... so kill those monsters before the patrol gets to you. Once you're safely hidden by the waterfall, just wait for the patrol to pass. This might take a while, so this is a good time for you to get a sandwich if you're hungry.
After you're done eating, just head up the ledge for Dunkoro's third bit of advice. Now you might be asking yourself, "But hey Mike, when did we complete the second objective?" Yah, like I said, this map is a litte buggy. Just pretend it worked. If you didn't aggro the patrol, you should be OK. So just follow the wall to complete the third requirement.
If you went the right way, you should see two runners. This is also a tricky part. 'Cause true to their names, they're gonna try to run from you. So you'll want to bring skills to cripple them. I'd recommend using hex spells. I blasted them with Deep Freeze, and then I killed them easily. You can be creative, of course... but the point is to stop them from getting away. If they do get away, they'll alert their buddies and then you lose the bonus. If you did it correctly, all of the side tasks should be completed. Just keep fighting toward the end of the map to secure your bonus.
The map isn't over until you defeat General Bayle and The Hunger. They don't fight very fair. Before you even get into range, you'll have to deal with the archers on the ledge... or do you? Knowing that Guild Wars has things like collision detection and line-of-sight, just stay under the ledge. The Archers cant touch you. Then, quickly killed Bayle. He's a Monk, so take him out first. You don't want him healing that freak. Ahhhh... it's the hunger it's trying to eat my eyes! I'd recommend using interrupts and knockdowns on this abomination. Teach it a lesson for messing with the sunspears! With Bayel and The Hunger dead, the map will be over.

Wow! I'm on TV
The video does look pretty good on the Wii, once you zoom into the appropriate size. What surprised me was the quality. I thought the video would look like Sewer Shark on the Sega Genesis. Instead, it looked bigger and better from the Wii browser. Low definition television can still be useful. It sure would be awesome to play a version of Guild Wars that was made for the Wii.
Oh, and I wrote this post from my Wii.

I don't need to day this but... Really nice guide again. It's getting boring you always do good guides. Couldn't you try something with less quality, just to be different?
Actually, we can see the details on the mission. The footsteps are really marke in the floor and we can see the runners. Of course, when we're doing the mission, we just want to rush through and do't think like in real life. That's what dunkoro is for.
The wii sounds really cool. Of course I can't get it because i got a ps3 for birthday and two new generation consoles is too much for me.
