Which do you think is the better armor? Platemail or Knight's? I personally think Platemail looks better but how about its protectiveness?

The absorption from Knight's or Ascalon armor doesn't stack, so the best would be gloves or boots from Knight's and the rest from Plate (or Gladiator's but you didn't mention that one so I won't either...kinda)

take full set of plate and ascalon helm that's what i did and it served me well. But if in my opinion the best gear is the gladiator armor.

I definitely prefer the glads. With one piece of damage absorbtion (boots for me).
Anything else is just for looks I think.

I wear full glads with an ascalon helm. Glads looks wicked when dyed silver, and it goes well with the ascalon help . If you're running, I'd say gladiator is a better set because of the energy bonus.
