Lightbulb Wii Boxing mid level help

Hello,

From a few cursory google searches, it seems some pretty good WiiBoxers hang out here.

I have been leveling up my boxing skill. At first I was getting like 60 xp per KO win. Then When I got to the 600s, I was winning by KO and decision in longer fights but only getting ~35 xp. Now that I am in the 700s fighting Lucas and another character. I can win with KO and still lose points.

Now I am still a beginner. I just pretty much picked up the curve upper cut from the right and left lately to help me win more but it seems like people just switch lefts and rights until the "swoosh sound" with an opening and they combo 1-2 and then start dancing again. I knock them down 4 times and I get knocked down about 2 times, sometimes more.

Any advice or help would be appreciated.
Is that what the pros are doing?
I read about adjusting sensitivity but I haven't messed with that.

You can lose points even though you won the match. Basically, you don't want to get knocked down at all. You also want to end the fight as quickly as possible. Another Photics.com thread has more information...
