On this website, there are lots of resources for learning web development and web design. And when deciding what should be the final item on the 12 Days of Christmas Gift Ideas for 2024, why not apply those creative skills? Why not make a gift? I made a Christmas Card for you!

Does a virtual greeting card count as a gift? It doesn’t have any cash value, so maybe that’s why it’s viewed as an inferior gift or not a gift at all. Yet, maybe a friendly message during the holidays is exactly what’s needed.

The prices of the items on this year’s 12 Days of Christmas Gift Ideas list had a greater range. It was as high as $500 for the new M4 Mac mini. (I got it at Costco, it was $100 off.) The lower items on the list were $4 for the mini Spirograph and $1.25 for a Colorforms board game.

What’s interesting about many of the gift ideas is that they have a range. A board game can be cheap or really expensive. It depends on the one you get. I was surprised at the quality of the $1.25 version of Monopoly. While Battleship and Scrabble felt a little lacking, it’s still a fun alternative in a tough budget. Maybe you’re rich, or you really love Scrabble, and a $200 wooden set is logical. The point is that there are options.

The main idea behind the list is to encourage people getting together and having a nice time. In the frenzy of the season, it’s easy to lose track of the true meaning of Christmas. That’s why I like the bible quote in the card…

Thanks be to God for his ineffable gift.

That’s what it’s about. So, a bible is a bonus item on the list. And similar to the items on the list, the prices of a bible can vary.
