Guild Wars Dragon Festival 2009

dragon-festivalI like how ArenaNet celebrates the holidays. It’s the Fourth of July weekend. We¬†the people¬†of the¬†United States of America¬†are celebrating¬†the birth of a nation. Meanwhile, in the world of Guild Wars, Cantha is having their annual Dragon Festival. That means seasonal games, quests and prizes for Guild Wars player.¬†This event is¬†especially important for title farmers as¬†the Boardwalk is open during this time of year.

Here’s the offical word from ArenaNet…

  1. They were late by 2 hours and 10 minutes this year. I heard talk of people wanting to ram the gate open with Golems. I haven’t seen crowds that bad since Black Friday.
