There’s something relaxing and entertaining about a fish tank. Yet, it’s also cruel. My fish tank was more like a death tank. Like many little kids, I attempted to care for my colorful little creatures. I liked my guppies, with their attractive tails. I would carefully pick out my favorite fish, bring them home from the local pet store, put my fish in the tank and flush them down the toilet in about two weeks.

It’s that time of the week again. Every Monday, at 12 PM Eastern / 9 PM Pacific, Nintendo adds to the Wii Virtual Console library. Checking out the latest games on the Wii is a fun part to my Monday routine. This weeks games are King’s Knight (500 Wii Points) from the NES and Powerball (800 Wii Points) from the Sega Genesis.

ArenaNet on the Offensive – Crack Down on Virtual Item Sales
Guild Wars is an online community. And like all communities, it has sociological problems. Dishonorable conduct can be found in the world of Guild Wars. When virtual items have real world value, there are unscrupulous people who would exploit the rules of the game for monetary gain. Even though the Guild Wars User Agreement prohibits selling and/or buying Guild Wars items, the rules have been broken. ArenaNet has grown more aggressive in the enforcement of their rules.

The Death of HD-DVD: What Does Blu-ray Mean For Gaming?
Today, Toshiba withdrew from the next generation format war. HD-DVD lost to Blu-ray. While movie aficionados might enjoy paying a premium for moderately improved quality video, this site is about gaming… and this is huge gaming news. Now that Blu-ray is the de facto format for high-definition movies, the PlayStation 3 is in an excellent position to win this generation’s console wars.
