The next big idea for Photics.com is still being determined. But as the old saying goes, “Life is what happens while we are making other plans.” A rare astronomical event will happen on April 8, 2024. And in order to take full advantage of this event, preparation will need to start soon. There will be a total eclipse visible from much of the United States — that’s assuming it doesn’t rain. 🌦️😄

I like Sprite and 7up, but excess sugar is not healthy. So, I went looking for fun alternative to plain water. In the Mexican section of a local supermarket, I learned about Topo Chico. I was surprised. While not quite as yummy as a soda, I thought Topo Chico was good. It’s a bit expensive though, so I compared the drink to other Carbonated / Sparkling Water (Lime) alternatives. The glass bottle of Topo Chico is fancy, but that also lead to a big problem.

Should You Update To macOS 12 Monterey?

First, you have to see if your Mac is compatible with macOS version 12. Quite a few older Macs were dropped in this update. The official website has a list of supported Macs.
Is the 2021 Apple TV 4K A Worthy Upgrade?
A new version of the Apple TV 4K was released in May of 2021. It wasn’t immediately apparent to me why this new version was necessary, other than YouTube not working on the 2013 version of the Apple TV. Two months later, the reason was clear — literally. People hate ads. And yet, marketing is part of life. If done correctly, people will love you. Apple is a perfect example. Steve Jobs and the gang made computers cool and sexy. Photics is selling widgets. Is there a thing further from cool and sexy? As the app updates progress, Widgets and Apparatuses are starting to look a lot better. It is actually getting cool and sexy. The new app icons are clean and pretty. The functionality is powerful. That means the next step is marketing.
