1/14/2008 Virtual Console Updates – Pac Attack and Riot Zone

Oh no, it’s two weeks in a row. Only two new games have been added to the Wii Virtual Console. Nintendo has been releasing less games on the virtual console. Pac Attack (SNES) and Riot Zone (TurboGrafx 16 CD-ROM) make their Wii debut today. What game would you have added? You can discuss this matter in the Photics Forums.

Guild Wars Bonus Mission Pack (BMP) – Available To All

ArenaNet restores honor to the Guild Wars legacy. The Guild Wars Bonus Mission Pack will no longer be a credit card exclusive. Starting Monday, January 28, 2008, players will be able to purchase the BMP for only $9.99 / €8.99 / £5.99 – through the PlayNC store, the Guild Wars Online Store or through participating retail stores. This is a huge victory for Photics.com, as this site petitioned for such a change.

1/7/2008 Virtual Console Updates – Star Tropics and King of Fighters ‘94

What’s going on Nintendo? It was tradition! Every Monday, there are supposed to be three new releases on the Wii Virtual Console. Today, there are only two – Star Tropics (NES) and King of Fighters ’94 (NEOGEO). What would that third game have been? There were so many opportunities. Instead, we are left to wonder.

Wintersday 2008 – Happy New Year From Tyria!

It’s something of a New Year’s Day tradition. I’ll wake up on the first day of January, I’ll log into Guild Wars, stand around for a moment and then I’ll get a new hat. Wintersday is not as impressive as it used to be. That’s to be understandable. I’ve been playing Guild Wars since February 2004. It’s time for a sequel!
