Sonic The Hedgehog Review (iOS version 2.0 – 2013)

Sonic the Hedgehog Title Screen - Thumbnail ImageIt doesn’t feel like it to me, but Sonic The Hedgehog is over two decades old. And in the early 90’s, it would have been inconceivable for me to imagine such an incredible – and portable – port. The 2013 iOS version of Sonic The Hedgehog is better than the original. It’s been a while since I’ve played an iOS game until the “Low Battery” warning appeared. The difference here is that I fully recharged the phone and played until the warning appeared again.

Robot Combat League – Rise of The Machines

Robot Combat League LogoRecently I was wondering, “Where are all the good Sci-Fi shows?” Star Wars, Star Trek, Stargate, isn’t there some other Star ____ show to watch? Unfortunately, reality shows seem to dominate the dial. Why take a risk on an expensive fantasy show when it’s cheaper and easier to make shows about karaoke or partying at the Jersey Shore?  This is why I’m surprised by Robot Combat League. Alternatives to Netflix

Thumbnail - Delete NetflixWhat happened Netflix? I used to be a big fan, but then you got greedy. In less than a year, I watched the price almost double. It was $8.99 for 1-DVD rental and Instant Streaming. Now those two services have been split up — costing $7.99 each. Unfortunately, I don’t think either service is strong enough to be separated. I’m so far away from Guild Wars right now that my main computer is a Mac. And yet, I saw something from ArenaNet that actually excited me — the Guild Wars 2 “Commando” profession. Now obviously, it’s an April Fool’s Joke. When the calendar hit 4/1/2011, I knew to limit my Internet activity. There’s just too much miss information out there. But 21 days later, I discovered ArenaNet’s little jest. The sad thing is that the joke is on ArenaNet. This is what their game should have been.

Why Dan Is Wrong About Game Center

Game Center Thumbnail - Why Dan Is Wrong About Game CenterYou know, I don’t really have time for this. I’m supposed to be busy building BOT. Yet, I read something that really annoyed me. It was an article by Dan Frommer. He’s a Senior Staff writer for The Business Insider. He mainly writes articles about Apple. I like the site and I generally like reading his articles. But yesterday, he had an article published on CNN that I felt was a bit unprofessional. It was entitled – Apple’s Three Biggest Weaknesses. I’m not a blind fanboy. Critiques are important for growth, but the words about Game Center didn’t seem to be in accordance with journalistic standards.
