In less than 23 hours of gameplay, the Survivor title track was completed. Kilroy Stonekin’s Punch-Out Extravaganza — a repeatable quest — made this title much easier to obtain. Basically, I chose the quicker path. It worked out. The alternative was farming Snow Wurms. I’m thinking that would have taken about 10 times longer.

Guild Wars Groundhog Day – TANK Dies Again
Did you ever see that movie with Bill Murray – Groundhog Day? Basically, it’s about a guy who relives the same day over and over again. He keeps doing it until he gets it right. It’s like that for TANK. He died on Groundhog’s Day, which means I have to restart. It’s the pursuit of the Legendary Survivor title, back at level 1.

Math and The Legendary Survivor Title
I’m starting to think that the Survivor title is the hardest one in Guild Wars. It demands absolute perfection for 100 levels of gameplay. Where does that number come from? After running Kilroy’s mission mulitple times, my mind started to wander. I started to think about a lot of things. Focusing on the end goal started to consume my thoughts. Just how much experience is needed to reach this title?
Guild Wars: Whack-A-Wurm – The Path of the Survivor
Imaging that you’re a farmer. It’s been a good season for you. Your wagon is filled to the top with delicious foods. As you travel to the market, you see a fork in the road. To the left is the low road. It is a long path that goes around a mountain. To the right is a path that is much shorter. It spirals alongside the mountain. One slip on the quick path and all your goods could be lost, you might even lose your life.

TANK – Is He The One?
It starts with good intentions. I don’t create a character and think, “Hey there TANK. I’m going to delete you when you hit level 8.” No, I play with the plan of winning. I imagine that my characters will be victorious, not a waste of a character slot. Yet, I know that not all of my characters survive. More often than not, I end up deleting them.
