I learned about Apple’s change to Game Center – a social network for iOS apps. My iPod Touch (second generation) is no longer excluded from the fun. With my poky 8GB device, I could partake of this online gaming experience. Ah, but there still was a barrier to surpass. I wasn’t quite sure how to get started. I had seen the Game Center app before, but I didn’t know how to download it to my iPod Touch. I wanted to secure “Photics” as my login name, as I’m planning to be quite active in this new gaming arena.

Patricia Heard-Greene shared her digital imaging story.
Guild Wars on iBooks!
Yesterday, I found a new toy to play with. Thanks to a software update from Apple, my iPod Touch is now able to use iBooks. I was reading about Guild Wars, and looking at the pretty pictures, on my iPod Touch.
Aiko & iOS4

While working on my next game, I went hunting for some more artwork. Aiko – the Anime Star Fighter is a free download from Daz3d.com. Even though it’s older artwork, it still looks awesome. Meanwhile, Apple gave new life to an old device. My iPod Touch (8 GIG) was upgraded to iOS 4.
Should Guild Wars Celebrate Memorial Day?
Today is the last Monday in May. That means it’s Memorial Day in the United States. It’s quite a significant occasion. I checked the announcement window, but there were no events listed for today. I began to ponder the situation – should there be a Guild Wars event for Memorial day?
