New DuckDuckGo Bang – !photics

DuckDuckGo LogoYou’re not seeing double. This is another DuckDuckGo article. In the previous post, it was announced that the “!pho” bang was available. While “pho” is short for “Photics”, it’s also a vietnamese noodle soup. That might get confusing. Fortunately, this site now has more than one DuckDuckGo bang. Now you can use “!photics” or “!pho” to quickly search Photics.com from the DuckDuckGo website or from a DuckDuckGo powered search bar.

New DuckDuckGo Bang – !pho

DuckDuckGo LogoDuckDuckGo is a search engine that emphasizes privacy. The site explains itself as, “The search engine that doesn’t track you.” That’s an important feature with today’s increasingly invasive technology — but that’s not the main reason why I like DuckDuckGo. If it seems more difficult than usual to register for this website, I’m not trying to be a jerk. I’m trying to protect the site.

“A Book About Hype” Is On The Way

For the past few months, I’ve been struggling to figure out what to do with this website. There are lots of possibilities – but I don’t have free time like I used to. Maybe I could focus on game development. Maybe I could focus on tech news. I wasn’t sure, but I’ve been frequenting the Tumult Forums lately. They make a great web design and development app called Hype. Often, people would ask if there’s a book about Hype. There isn’t, so I figured that should be my next big project. I could make one.
