Free Template Tuesday #10 – Tumult Hype “Reveal”

Thumbnail - Split EmojiThis week’s Tumult Hype template is a quick guide on how to create a “reveal” effect. Sometimes, you might want to compare two objects. Perhaps picture #1 shows the outside of the human body and picture #2 shows what’s underneath. Perhaps the reveal picture shows undergarments, no clothing at all or an image of organs. Good web design can relate to many different professions. That’s why the “Reveal” template is handy. It shows how to create a common web effect with Hype – no custom JavaScript necessary.

Free Template Tuesday #9 – Tumult Hype “Lock”

Lock Emoji ThumbnailRunning a popular website can be very expensive. Hotlinking is one of the ways hosting can become unnecessarily expensive for webmasters. The end result is a project that grew larger than expected. If you’re looking for a way to create quizzes, the “United States Capitals Quiz” template could be a great starting point. It tackles complex issues, such as working with arrays and randomizing the display of that data.

Free Template Tuesday #6 – Tumult Hype “FPS”

Frames Per Second (FPS) ThumbnailI believe that Tumult Hype can be great game development software. It’s easy to use, but it’s powerful. It even has a built-in physics engine. In the HTML5 era of web development, it’s the perfect replacement for Flash. The problem is that Hype is lacking a few key features to unlock the potential. The Frames Per Second (FPS) template is a little nudge in that direction. Hype might not be totally geared for game development, but there are some features that we can add on our own.
