Photics Team – Folding@Home March / April 2009 Contest

Members of the Photics Team use computer downtime to help scientists better understand protein folding and the related diseases. This could help humanity! Nintendo's 2008 Game Lineup for Wii and DS

2007 was an excellent year for Nintendo. According to the company, the Nintendo DS was the #1 selling game system and the Wii was #2. With both top spots secured, where can Nintendo go from here? There’s no need to wonder what’s next, as a tentative game lineup list is now available.

12/10/2007 Virtual Console Releases – Pokemon Snap, Ghost’n Goblins and Baseball Stars 2

The Virtual Console is taking this website full circle. I reviewed Pokemon Snap (N64) over eight years ago. Today, it is released to the Wii. Ghost’n Goblins (NES) and Baseball Stars 2 (NEOGEO) are also included in this week’s Virtual Console releases.

Photics Folding@Home Team Breaks 5000 Mark

At this very moment, computers all around the world are calculating protein folding simulations. By better understanding this process, it is hoped that cures to deadly diseases can be found. The Photics Team has been exceptional in this endeavor. Out of 84,000+ teams, the Photics Team is in the top 5000 and climbing.
