Nintendo Switch vs Xbox One S vs PlayStation 4 Slim vs iPad Air 2

Video Game ControllerNintendo has some hubris. The Nintendo Switch is slated to be available on March 3, 2017 – for $299. That puts it against the Xbox One S and the PlayStation 4 Slim. Worse, these two competing consoles can be found for significantly less money than $299. Direct from Amazon.com, it’s about $20-$30 cheaper. That’s with a bundled game. The problem is even bigger than that. Why buy a toy when you can get an iPad? The iPad Air 2 was recently on sale for $275. Games are fun, but sometimes you need to be productive. A Warning To Apple TV Owners

iOS Remote App IconIt looks like Apple is gearing up to take the Apple TV seriously. The price of the device dropped from $99 to $69, HBO Now will be available on Apple TV next month and there are all sorts of neat rumors about Apple TV improvements for later this year. Ski Safari (iOS) Review and Hints

Ski SafariIt seems that I was late to the party with this one. Back in the Spring of 2012, Defiant Development launched Ski Safari. It’s a cute and fun skiing game. In a seemingly never-ending sea of iOS apps and games, it’s hard to stand out in the endless runner genre. I thought I pretty much had my fill with Tiny Wings and Agent Dash. But with Ski Safari, I was playing on my iPhone 4 like it was brand new.

Under The Dome vs Siberia

Under The Dome ThumbnailNormally, TV slows down for the summer. I’m not sure why that is. Yeah, it’s a season for vacations. But when I think of relaxing, I think of kicking back and watching TV! Fortunately, it’s an interesting summer for TV. The problem is that much of the action is crammed into one time slot — Monday at 10:00 PM (Eastern Daylight Time). Two exciting shows are going head-to-head. It’s Under The Dome (CBS) vs. Siberia (NBC).
