Mobile phones are becoming more like personal assistants. With an iPhone I can schedule appointments, check my messages and do other related tasks. Although, is a smartphone good enough to replace a human worker? Computers are just machines. They don’t really care about you. They just process data. They don’t sense emotion… or do they?! Recently, I had a stunning realization that my iPhone could know my overall mood. That information is stored with recently used “emoji” icons.
Pacific Rim Review
I haven’t been going to the movies as much. Considering that Netflix is only $7.99 a month, why should I drop $8 on a matinee? Although, I couldn’t resist the urge to see giant robots fight giant monsters. Pacific Rim didn’t look like a cheap sci-fi movie from the 50’s. This looked like a high-quality action flick. So, I decided to check it out. I thought that the movie was good. But unfortunately, I wasn’t overly impressed.
War Pinball Review
Platoon – After a while, I started getting bored with the other two tables. So, I decided to try the Platoon table. It’s not too bad. My favorite part is that the multiball is easy to achieve. Up to four balls can be added by hitting the upper bumper/targets with the upper flippers. Although, the chaos is typically short. It’s hard to control so many balls at once. But as long as I can keep one ball in play, usually I can trigger a second multiball. This allows me to keep playing longer.
But like Navy Seals, I still haven’t been able to complete the Platoon storyline. The objective is to hit as many lit targets to advance the calendar. I haven’t been able to make it through a full year. My game usually ends before May.
One of the worst things about the Platoon table is the air raid siren sound. Because I can’t always hit all of the mines, the sound just keeps going and going. It gets very annoying. In general, I play with the music turned off.
Another one of the reasons why I avoided War Pinball for so long is that the game didn’t seem so kid friendly. War Pinball is based on “R” rated movies. I liked Space Cadet because it was a fun way to relax. I wasn’t so sure if I could trust this game to be as relaxing. If this is a concern, there is a way to disable profanity in the “Restrictions” setting.
But overall, I enjoy the action movie theme of War Pinball. If you don’t have any of the Gameprom pinball games, and you’re wondering which one to get for iOS, the Pinball HD Collection might be an app to consider. I don’t like in-app purchases, so I’m happier with War Pinball.
Photics Rating: 4.5 / 5.0 😀 😀 😀 😀 🙄
Brain Explosion… Brain Sneeze… Brain Reset… What Is It?
Has this ever happened to you? You’re tired. You go lay down to rest. While your body isn’t moving, your brain is racing. You’re thinking about many things at once. Your thoughts are moving at incredible speeds. You’re not quite asleep, but you’re not fully awake either. Your mind is focused on the busyness in your head. The ideas, the thoughts, the thinking, it just keeps moving faster and faster… until… boom!

Xbox One Does a 180
I was gearing myself up to write an epic rant. I’m astonished at how stupid Microsoft has been. My Xbox Live account is “forever stuck in a corrupted state“, Windows 8 didn’t launch with the Start Button and the new Xbox One was about to be a stillbirth. Obviously realizing that Sony was about to eat their lunch, Microsoft finally woke up. Apparently, the next generation Xbox will not require a daily Internet connection to play offline games and limitations on selling used games have been removed.
