After careful consideration, Photics is returning to App Development. This is reminiscent of the insanity quote (which is often attributed to Albert Einstein) – doing the same thing over and over again, but expecting different results. Based on previous experience, returning to App Development does seem like a crazy idea. However, it’s not the same plan. It’s been streamlined.
Google Homepage “Doodle” Celebrates Easter 2019
After 19 years of no recognition, Google finally posted an Easter “Doodle” on the Google.com homepage. It’s adorable – so cute! Google traditionally decorates their homepage to recognize days of significance. For Christians, Easter is right up there with Christmas. That’s why it was so controversial that Google didn’t acknowledge the holy day. Today, that changed!

Adding Dark Mode Styles (CSS) To A WordPress Theme
With the macOS Mojave 10.14.4 update, Dark Mode support was added to Safari. Here’s the official text from Apple’s update announcement – “Adds Dark Mode support for websites that support custom color schemes” – this leads to a natural next question for web designers / developers. How do you add support for custom color schemes? It’s actually not too bad. It’s one basic line in CSS and then a lot of tedious work.

My car is about hit 15 years of age. The cost of maintenance is at the tipping point. Eventually, it becomes cheaper to buy a new car than to maintain an old one. There’s also additional stress involved. An older car tends to be of questionable reliability. Will it start? Will it get me home? I’ve been looking for a new electric car, but I had given up on Tesla. Today, they surprised me. The long wait is over. The $35,000 Tesla Model 3 is finally here.
