Blast Past Apple’s Walled Garden With Tumult Hype 2

Tumult Hype IconTumult Hype 2 is now available. The sad news is that the free updates for 1.x have ended. I happily paid $29.99 for version 2, as Hype has been such a boon for my work. But aside from supporting cool software, is the upgrade worth it? For the most part, Hype 2 is refinement of existing features. I felt that Hype 1.6 was a bigger update than 2.0. However, there is something remarkable about Hype 2.0. It creates a serious alternative to iTunes App development.

Under The Dome vs Siberia

Under The Dome ThumbnailNormally, TV slows down for the summer. I’m not sure why that is. Yeah, it’s a season for vacations. But when I think of relaxing, I think of kicking back and watching TV! Pacific Rim Review

Pacific Rim - Gipsy Danger - ThumbnailI haven’t been going to the movies as much. Considering that Netflix is only $7.99 a month, why should I drop $8 on a matinee? Although, I couldn’t resist the urge to see giant robots fight giant monsters. Pacific Rim didn’t look like a cheap sci-fi movie from the 50’s. This looked like a high-quality action flick. So, I decided to check it out. I thought that the movie was good. But unfortunately, I wasn’t overly impressed.

War Pinball Review

War Pinball ThumbnailWar Pinball is a game that I ignored for a while. I used to play 3D Pinball – Space Cadet on Microsoft Windows, but I didn’t have an equivalent game on Mac or iOS. I knew about Gameprom’s War Pinball, but it didn’t interest me. With all the bad press surrounding Charlie Sheen, I wasn’t in the mood to play a game based on Platoon or Navy Seals. But since Chuck Norris also has his own table in this app, I decided to give it a try.
