It looks like my review of Hype 4 caught the attention of some people. One question stands out in particular. Roughly paraphrased, “Can you make money with Tumult Hype?” Tumult is making a big ask of its user base. Hype 4 is a paid upgrade. Even with discounts for existing users, is it worth the money? It’s a fair question. I wrote back to the person that asked the question, but I also think that the public at large could benefit from the answer.

With the macOS Mojave 10.14.4 update, Dark Mode support was added to Safari. Here’s the official text from Apple’s update announcement – “Adds Dark Mode support for websites that support custom color schemes” – this leads to a natural next question for web designers / developers. How do you add support for custom color schemes? It’s actually not too bad. It’s one basic line in CSS and then a lot of tedious work.

Web development is profession that is filled with numerous challenges. Quite often, you could be faced with a technical puzzle to solve. But unlike a video game, which is designed to entertain you and make you happy, these digital enigmas can torment you. What is the right answer? Free Template Tuesday #14 – Tumult Hype “Book”
With the release of iOS 11, many of my original iPhone / iPad / iPod Touch apps stopped working. 64-bit mode is now required. So, I went back to the beginning – to Revisions. It was my very first book and my very first app. Ah, back in those days, it started out in Android. But since it was a WebView app, it wasn’t long before Revisions was on iOS too. That’s why Tumult Hype is interesting. I’ve been with experimenting with Hype projects as apps. I’ve had some success and some failures. This “Book” template for Tumult Hype highlights the matter.

Some Issues With Whitehouse.gov
Some people just hate Trump. Maybe it’s his policies. Maybe they don’t like his attitude. Maybe they want to be the one to take him down, as it can boost their career. Me, I don’t hate him. I actually like him. I also like making websites, which is why I find the recent change to whitehouse.gov quite fascinating. It was recently switched from Drupal to WordPress. Was this a good move? It’s too early to tell, but there are some issues with the new website.
