People hate ads. And yet, marketing is part of life. If done correctly, people will love you. Apple is a perfect example. Steve Jobs and the gang made computers cool and sexy. Photics is selling widgets. Is there a thing further from cool and sexy? As the app updates progress, Widgets and Apparatuses are starting to look a lot better. It is actually getting cool and sexy. The new app icons are clean and pretty. The functionality is powerful. That means the next step is marketing.

Web development is one of the few professions where you don’t need a degree, certificate, or a license to get a job. I don’t know how long that party is going to last. But despite the low barrier to entry, there are standards for web development. It is a moving target, but professional websites are generally expected to hit certain requirements. Google’s web.dev website is an easy way to check if your website is meeting modern standards. Photics.com was recently put to the test. The end results were flawless.

The True Meaning of Superhero
If there’s something memorable about 2010s pop-culture, it’s the prevalence of superhero movies. And yet, something seems off about them. Oh sure, the movies made money — A LOT OF MONEY. They’re certainly popular. The problem is saturation. Where do they go from here? After Avengers: End Game, after battling a scourge that wiped out half of all life in the universe, how do you write a more compelling story?
Widgets 3.1 — Happy Easter!
After some surprising feedback regarding the “Bible” widget, I went back to work. There were two main concerns. Catholics wanted a version of the bible for them. Also, searching by verse wasn’t enough. A text search was requested. This update took longer than expected. It was planned as the Easter update and the deadline was just barely met. But after the dark year of 2020, this project was uplifting.
Finally Got A Tesla — Hot Wheels Cybertruck Review
Back in the winter of 2020, just before the pandemic mania hit the states, two Hot Wheels remote control Tesla Cybertrucks were announced. The preorders for the 1:10 and 1:64 scale toys ended almost immediately. That marked the start of a long wait until the Christmas season. But after a year filled with tragedy and turmoil, the release was delayed. With just a few more months of waiting, a playful version of the Tesla Cybertruck arrived at my door.
