Tesla Model 3 – The Long Wait

Tesla Model 3 - BlueAfter some fairly harsh words about pre-ordering Tesla’s Model 3, I’m surprised to have had such a change of heart. After carefully researching the alternatives, the Model 3 is not perfect — but it’s a lot better than the competition. At some point in the near future, I will need a new car. I feel that it should be an electric car. Tesla is clearly the leader in that market. I now find myself in a really long line, a line with several hundreds of thousands of people ahead of me. The car is not even expected to start shipping until late 2017. It’s going to be a long wait.

iPhone SE Review

iPhone SE – 4 inch displayIn the year 2010, the iPhone 4 was a revolutionary device. It reshaped the way the world communicated. But in 2016, the iPhone 4 is obsolete – no longer supported by Apple. I needed a new phone. I skipped the 4S, 5, 5S, 6 and 6S models. That’s five generations of upgrades. Tesla Fools’ Day – Model 3 Disappointment

Tesla Model 3Last Thursday (on March 31, 2016) Tesla started taking preorders for the Model 3. Starting at $35,000 – the Model 3 is the affordable version of Tesla’s all-electric vehicles. Don’t Be Cheap Apple!

The Peanuts MovieWith Apple vs the FBI, Tim Cook probably has more pressing matters on his mind. But that aside, there’s another reason why 2016 is a big year for Apple. According to rumors, the iPhone 5SE and the iPad Air 3 will be out next month. Also, the iPhone 7 will be released about six months later. Can Apple maintain their dominance in this ultra-competitive market? I don’t know, but they’re not really helping themselves by being cheap with the hardware. While trying to purchase “The Peanuts Movie” on iTunes, I realized that Apple’s short-term profitability can hurt their longterm health.

Trump Is Wrong About Apple

iPhone - Enter PasscodeIt disappoints me to see how so many politicians can be so wrong on technology. I was enjoying Trump’s presidential campaign until recently. He’s been fighting with so many people that it’s getting hard to keep track. Sure, it’s natural that he fights with someone like Ted Cruz or Jeb Bush. That’s normal for a political campaign. Go ahead, sue Ted Cruz because he’s born in Canada. Someone should test what “natural born citizen” means. Sure, you can disagree with Bush on the Iraq war. That’s American. But Apple?! Why are you fighting with them Donald Trump?
